The Loch is a relatively shallow water of 200 acres which provides rich feeding throughout the year resulting in good quality, grown on trout.
Over the years the members and committee have spent , and continue to spend, hours of hard work to form a first class Fishery with a deserved reputation for quality hard fighting , brown, rainbow and blue trout.
Fishing is run from the boathouse, which is adjacent to the B9113 Forfar to Montrose road - you can find a map via Google Maps on the Contact & Find Us page.
See our Prices page for details on fishing from bank, , engine/battery hire and times when permits can be obtained.

Tickets are sold on the understanding that anglers are familiar with and will abide by the rules of the Loch.
